Είσαι συνοδηγός; Τόσο το καλύτερο... vol2

  Όλοι λένε ότι ο σωστός εξοπλισμός μηχανής είναι βασικός για την ασφάλεια σου. Ισχύει απολύτως. Ξέρω κοπέλα που έπεσαν με τον άντρας της με 150-180 χιλιόμετρα την ώρα με full εξοπλισμό και την γλίτωσαν με μώλωπες.  Έχω ακούσει για άνθρωπο που σχεδόν ακίνητος γλίστρησε το πόδι του και έπεσε αλλά βρήκε το κεφάλι του στο πεζοδρόμιο και σκοτώθηκε ενώ δεν θα πάθαινε τίποτα αν απλά φορούσε το κράνος του.
   Ο εξοπλισμός είναι βασικός αλλά και ακριβός και δεν μπορείς πάντα να διαθέσεις τα λεφτά που χρειάζονται για να πάρεις τα πάντα. Τρία χρόνια μετά την πρώτη μηχανή και 2 χρόνια μετά το πρώτο μεγάλο ταξίδι, ακόμα δεν έχω αγοράσει όλα όσα "χρειάζονται" αλλά θα σου πω τι έμαθα μέχρι τώρα.

Είσαι συνοδηγός; Τόσο το καλύτερο...

   

     Από τότε που θυμάμαι, πάντα μου άρεσαν οι μηχανές. Μου άρεσαν οι custom, μου άρεσαν οι street μου άρεσαν οι on-off μου άρεσαν όλες οι μηχανές αλλά παρόλα αυτά δεν έβγαλα ποτέ δίπλωμα. Πότε δεν είχα λεφτά, άλλοτε δεν είχα όρεξη, και συχνότερα όλοι γύρω μου φοβόντουσαν για το τι θα πάθω ανεβαίνοντας σε μια μηχανή και με "κρατούσαν" από το να πάω. Πάντα όμως έλεγα μέσα μου "έχεις χρόνο..." και μ ' αυτά και μ' αυτά έφτασα 44 χρονών...

Book prices and movies

I was thinking about the upcoming movie of "The hunger games" and I asked my goddaughter, who's gonna be 18 at the end of the month, if she had ever heard about the books as they are young adult literature, but she had no idea what I was talking about. Nor any of her classmates had ever heard of the trilogy.
I first heard about the books and the movie about a year ago through a site I read from time to time, called Geek moms (although I'm not a mom yet), and they were so excited about the books that made me wanna read them too. For various reasons I started (and finished) reading them last month and loved them and now I've been whining to my husband to watch the movie although it doesn't have any spaceships or superheroes and other boy's stuff. He is gonna take me...the things you do for love...

Us and the chicken

My husband doesn't really like eating chicken except as a chicken soup. I love eating chicken in every form possible except in a chicken soup. It don't hate it but it reminds me of hospital food or something but I do cook it for my husband's sake.
A few months earlier I found a recipe in a site that we both loved and it's so easy you can prepare it in no time and just leave it in the oven while you do your various household chores. I don't give you the original recipe as it is in Greek but I can provide it to anyone who's interested.

Economic crisis and tv shows

 My husband likes staying at home at his spare time. He is as content as a house cat if you leave him in front of his pc with a huge cup of coffee and an ashtray. Me, on the other hand, I'm like this a bit crazy cat that cannot possibly decide whether to stay in or go out and just as I might seem to be reading a very interesting something on my pc screen or on my kindle, I will raise my head and say "OMFG!!!! I'm bored out of my ass!!! Let's go someplace. NOW!!!". Yes, I'm that effing polite and that accurate about what I need, who are you my father? Gosh!

Τούρτα Portal

  Από πέρυσι ήθελα να φτιάξω για τα γενέθλια του άντρα μου μια τούρτα βασισμένη στο Portal. Για όσους δεν το ξέρουν είναι ένα παιχνίδι με στοιχεία puzzle & action της εταιρίας Valve. Είναι από τα αγαπημένα παιχνίδια και των δυο μας αν και γω μόνο βλέπω τον Θοδωρή να παίζει γιατί το hand and eye coordination μου είναι για γέλια (δικά σας) και κλάματα (δικά μου). Anyways όμως φέτος όντας άνεργη και αφού παίζω το "η καλή νοικοκυρά είναι δούλα και κυρά" αποφάσισα να φτιάξω για ΠΡΩΤΗ φορά στη ζωή μου, τούρτα και όχι απλώς τούρτα, portal themed. Το post αυτό είναι για την περιπέτεια μου.
